Advocacy & Industry Representation

Protecting the Industry Through Education, Collaboration, and a Unified Voice

Advocacy is stronger when the industry speaks with one voice.

The Connecticut Pest Control Association (CTPCA) actively represents the interests of licensed pest management professionals at the state level. Through ongoing communication with legislators, regulatory agencies, and industry partners, CTPCA works to ensure that laws and regulations affecting pest management are practical, science-based, and reflective of real-world operations.

CTPCA’s advocacy efforts focus on protecting the ability of professionals to operate responsibly while safeguarding public health, property, and the environment. By serving as a trusted industry voice, the Association helps bridge the gap between policymakers and pest management professionals, fostering collaboration, education, and informed decision-making.

CTPCA ensures Connecticut’s pest management professionals are represented, informed, and heard.

CTPCA advocates for policies and practices that support both the pest management industry and the communities it serves. Our efforts are guided by collaboration, education, and a commitment to responsible pest control.

Legislative Day

CTPCA’s Legislative Day provides members with the opportunity to engage directly with Connecticut lawmakers and regulatory officials. This annual event allows pest management professionals to share firsthand insight into the challenges and responsibilities of operating in the field.

During Legislative Day, members meet with elected officials to discuss proposed legislation, regulatory concerns, and industry priorities. These conversations help ensure policymakers understand how pest control laws and regulations affect public health, businesses, and consumers across the state.

By bringing real-world experience to the discussion, Legislative Day strengthens relationships, promotes education, and reinforces CTPCA’s role as a trusted resource for policymakers and regulators.
